Project Time: 5 days

design process of discovery and research

Conducted an desk research using data from Ministry of Sports – Federal Government of Brazil in conjunction with qualitative research.

How might I create a way to find other women?

I propose a usability experience that allows users to navigate through a map of their neighborhood, where events are marked. Additionally, users can access a calendar to find events on specific dates based on their preferences.

How might I provide usability that caters to all ages?

Using a common layout similar to social media apps, the “feed” is familiar to most users and helps them feel part of a community. Content that is relevant and appealing to different age groups, such as age-specific fitness tips, activities, and communities. The navigation on the map allows users to quickly find all activities in their neighborhood.

How might I prioritize ideas under a tight deadline?

Based on the insights gathered from research, benchmarking, and persona definition, some requirements and functionalities were prioritized according to project feasibility and the available time frame.

the final challenge

After analyzing the results of hundreds of projects, the judges selected two finalists, where we had to develop part of the project and present it live. We detailed the entire creation process and made the pitch, with Gowo being chosen as the competition winner.😊

UI design

In retrospect

Participating in this challenge was extremely important, although exhausting. There were days with more than 20 hours of work and little sleep, but it was very constructive. I learned that I can execute tasks much faster than I imagined when the deadline is so tight. I had to prioritize tasks and ideas to achieve the best possible result within the expected timeframe. I understand that the project could have been much more developed if there had been more time, but it was very enlightening to understand what is possible to accomplish within such a short period.
